Summer Chamber Music Experience at The Abalone Moon Music Studio

8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

​

Students in grades 4 – 12 who play piano or orchestral string instruments (Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass), come to 5 days at The AMMS during the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for musical experiences and fun. Students will play in small instrumental groupings according to audition, participate in music theory games, choose one other activity and observe and discuss performances. Each day will provide opportunities for creative exploration, laughter, developing friendships with other students in music and intensive study. Small ensemble sizes afford an intensive, playful, nurturing experience. Student will be perform at the End-of-Summer Music Share/Ice Cream Social the evening of TBA

A snack is provided. Bring a bag lunch and wear comfortable clothes.

Highlights of a day will include:

• Coaching in small groups

• Discussion in groups

• Music Theory games

• Coached practice times

• 1 Activity choice period will be picked according to student preferences

Lunch & Snacks! 

Child brings own lunch each day.
The Abalone Moon Music Studio will provide wholesome snacks and water.

Registration

​

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Use the Registration form to  reserve your place in class. You must fill out a liability form on the first day.

​

Ensemble Camp size will be from 2-10 players.

​

Piano Camp will run with a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 4 students per session.

​

Chamber Camp will run with a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 10 students.
